Extending the initiative born in the Gothic South, with the help of Teresa Caja, the District of Old Town will start with the next October, a campaign under the name "Trade Friends of the Elderly" wants to bring the trade of the district older people who live there.
The campaign, which can participate in all businesses interested in doing so, it will consist of shops made available to the elderly because the elderly a chair to sit a moment to rest on their daily trips around the neighborhood.
These chairs - that can be installed inside or outside of the trade - will be delivered completely free of charge by the district and will be differentiated with the logo of the campaign. To create a more pleasant, the District also distributed a plant in collaboration with the group of florists on the Ramblas.
The participating stores will appear in the campaign website and in communications to the district level to make general or senior citizens' associations and clubs for the elderly.
