A traditional pastry shop that has been sweetening the life of the people of Barcelona for more than 150 years. Its presence in the Gothic Quarter dates back to 1834 and half a century ago it passed into the hands of the Gil-Ribes family.
This unique store stands out for the traditional Catalan bakery and pastry products that it offers to its customers. Its large display case full of delicious-looking sweets attracts passers-by to come in and try one of its desserts.
For three generations it was in the hands of the same family, but Núria Pagés recently decided to retire and the business has passed into other hands, with the commitment to keep alive the legacy and traditional character of this century-old pastry shop.
