La Casa de la Estilográfica, opened its doors more than 80 years ago, in 1938, inspired by a store that the grandfather of Roberto Candales - its current owner - had seen on a trip to La Havana. Its first location was in a small shops of a metro station, near what would now be the Avenida de la Luz, although we can currently find it on Fontanella street.
The fountain pen has been considered an elegant object, and thanks to this, this store lived in the fifties its golden age. Later, when the pen entered the market, it had to reinvent itself in order to survive, with new materials, better designs and exquisite customer service. And they succeeded, which is why today it continues to have a large number of loyal customers and has become a benchmark in the world of collecting.
