This gastro-bar, with more than 80 years of history, began in 1935 as a grocery store but 5 years later it was transformed into a winery. It quickly began to be known as the winery of Mrs. María, the owner at the time, who later inherited it to her daughter Carmen, in the 80s, who innovated the offer including coffees and omelettes.
Currently, this unique winery, located in an emblematic location, is run by Judit Giménez and Albert Rial who have maintained the concept with the wineskins, its wooden and marble bar, seats attached to the walls, etc.
This fabulous corner in the Gothic Quarter presents us a gastronomic proposal that goes beyond the traditional vermouth dishes, with options such as: pickled mackerel with vegetables or baked beetroot gratin with goat cheese, truffle and pine nuts.
