From the trader agroupation of carrer Avinyó, part of Barna Centre Barri Gòtic, are promoted a festive encounter with the elderly people every year, to make a dance and a snack at Orwell Square.
Promoted by the president of the street, Teresa Caja, once again, has been a joyous and cohesive moment where commerce has been involved with the neighborhood and has shown to the elderly who are part of our neighborhood. Last Thursday 6 july at 17 hours, we carried out the action in a coordinated way with the residences of the neighborhood and the oldest neighborhood. And volunteers of all ages did not lack to fill the square and dance, as well as tasting a 10 kg weight cake that was distributed among those attending.
