On 23 November, the Salo de Cent ('Ajuntament de Barcelona), hosted the awards ceremony of the children's drawing contest organized by Barna Centre. From the hand of the Mayor, the District Councillor and President of Barna Centre, the children winners and finalists received their award and the recognition of more than 200 people who attended the act.
Open to participe to children between 3 and 12 years, the competition was inicied 16 years ago to promotie awareness and participation in the celebration our popular celebration, Festes de la Mercè. Year after year, the works of our young artists don't cease to be amazed by its quality and creativity. Never is easy to choose, so congratulations to all participants and their schools, and all finalists and winners! We encouraged them to participate again next year in the competition, and to keep enjoying the city, their childness and their artistic expression!
