The origins of this family business go back more than 110 years, to the beginning of the last century when, in 1909, Pascual Artero began selling tools for shearing horses. Over time and with the generational change, they began to specialize in barbershop products and in 1939, after the post-war period, they began to import some brands of machines, sewing and hairdressing scissors, and blades.
But i's the founder's grandson, Fernando Artero, who in 1946 expanded the business, settling in the current premises on the Call street at number 17, in Barcelona. Since then they have specialized in knives, barbershop, and machines for dog grooming.
Today it is an international and innovative brand, which has diversified its offer. Artero's story is a great example of how a family business is capable of transforming and adapting.
