Centennial bookstore that opened its doors 100 years ago, in 1922, on Cardenal Casañas street in Barcelona. Its founder was Joan Guadall, who came from the world of graphic arts.

The place preserves the original robust wooden beams and has become a symbol of the lifetime commerce in the Gothic Quarter. Its attractive façade full of books and its close and familiar treatment have allowed them to keep a loyal clientele.

Behind these achievements there are several generations that have worked to push the business forward. Today, it is Maria Montserrat Martí Guadall, granddaughter of the founder, who is in charge and is supported by the future replacement, her nephew Ricard.
