This emblematic glove and fan shop was opened more than 100 years ago, in 1905, by the Mañós Barrera family. In 1973 it passed to the Alonso family, its current owners, known as couturiers in the neighborhood.
It has an elegant and nostalgic air, since it maintains the modernist style of the beginning of the last century, both in its façade and in the interior furniture, which has allowed it to serve as an inspiration to writers such as Carlos Ruiz Zafón, who recreated the Sempere bookstore in his quadrilogy, based on it.
An emblematic place, currently run by the third generation, personified by Victoria Alonso, which has known how to stand the test of time and aims to continue for many years, contributing to enriching the commercial offer of the Gothic Quarter.
