This outstanding café in the city of Barcelona already has 75 years of history, being part of the Gothic Quarter. It was founded in 1947 and since then it has been known for its famous Swiss chocolate.
It is a unique place, which stands out for its timeless decoration with large paintings on the walls. But one of the most characteristic features of the place is that the waiters dress as before, with a white shirt, black pants and a stately bow tie.
La Pallaresa is ideal for winter evenings, not only for its chocolate, but also for its wide variety of artisan sweets such as Catalan cream, egg flan, rice pudding or its mythical ensaimada.
