FELGAR, is an acronym formed by the name of the dressmaker and co-founder of the store, Felicitas Garcés.

The history of this store dates back to the early post-war years and to the figures of Felicitas Garcés and her husband, Pere Pavía. She, passionate about sewing and fashion, and he, a man with a great business vision, combined their energy to create a great fashion project in Barcelona.

Its varied clientele was forged from the women of large families in Barcelona, ​​who came in searching for the best finery in the city, to other companies that purchased their garments wholesale, made in the Confecciones Montfel workshop.
