Centenary bookstore where you can enjoy a good lunch or dinner among mountain books.
During its beginnings, this bookstore located on Petritxol street since 1916, was focused on literary publishing activity related to the theater. Its first name was L'Escon and it was not until 1937 that the owner decided to specialize in the mountain field.
It is a family business that celebrated its centenary in 2016 with an exhibition about its history and the family saga.
In the search to reinvent themselves and be able to survive, in 2019 they started a transformation process, and begin to combine the sale of books and gastronomy. So now you can not only find literary treasures about hiking, but also sit down to eat typical dishes of mountain ascents.
