IN GENOA, A SMALL ITALIAN CITY CLOSE TO THE SEA AND THE MOUNTAINS, THERE IS AN UNFORGETTABLE SCENT THAT FLOATS IN THE AIR. IT IS THE SMELL OF FOCACCIA, WHICH IS FOUND IN ANY OVEN IN ANY CORNER OF GENOA.
Patrick, an Italian from Genoa, and Clare, an Englishwoman from Cornwall, decided to learn the secrets of these Genoese aromas and share them with the rest of the world. That was how, with the lesson well learned, they traveled to Barcelona with the idea of creating their first focacceria.
They were walking the streets looking for the ideal place of their dreams... when one noon the two found themselves sitting on a bench in the Plaza del Bonsuccés, next to Barcelona's Ramblas, to have a sandwich and compare their notes. In front of their eyes, they saw a business transfer announcement. And that's how the first Buenas Migas was born...
