A place with a long historical tradition, a meeting point for musicians, artists and students, located in the heart of the city.
It was founded in 1927, during the 19th century it functioned as a brothel. In 1936 the Unified Socialist Party of Catalonia (PSUC) was founded. It is a meeting point for several generations.
It is part of the Catalog of architectural, historical-artistic and landscape heritage of the emblematic establishments of Barcelona, prepared by the City Council in 2016.
