The Plenary Council of Barcelona City Council gave the green light Friday to the new regulation of trading hours of the city, allowing the establishments located within an area open on Sundays from 1 July to 15 September with a schedule set from 10.00 to 18.00. The proposal, which has received the affirmative vote of the PP, will take effect this summer.
The agreement is valid for one year and plans to ask the Department of Business and Employment of the Government is determined to Barcelona as a tourist municipality to allow the opening of shops in the city center.
