Today , at a press conference , the City Council has made changes towards public holiday opening for unauthorized commercial establishments in the city of Barcelona in 2014.
The measures affect the entire city of Barcelona and the dates have been chosen according to the tourist , a total of 19 holidays are opening allowed.
The new features are:
• It will open every Sunday in July and August throughout the city for reasons of tourist from 10:00 to 14:00 pm, except on July 6, where the opening was already authorized because of the sales of summer usually within hours .
• Replacing the festive opening authoritative October 12 and November 1 through March 30 to mark the Food Fair and 29 June for Pride Barcelona 2014
• Added two extra holidays unauthorized opening on 18 May and 14 September to coincide with the arrival of cruise ships in town.
