As surely you will recall, last February 25 was celebrated the twenty-one Night of Santa Eulalia, in which were given the Silver Rose awards for best commercial initiatives in the city center in 2012. This year, we were accompanied by the Mayor, Xavier Trias, the Conseller for Enterprise and Employment, Felip Puig, the President of the Chamber of Commerce, Miquel Valls, and a large representation of the Public and Municipal Government, who showed their support for commerce and was able to hear first-hand the needs of the members.
This event was held at the Hotel Montblanc Via Laietana were given Silver Rose awards for the best shopping inititive to Le Coq Sportif, for the establishment of street Boters 6, for their commitment with Barcelona center, providing a quality brand with a specialty shop, attractive with an excellent segmentation of the product inside, but recovered rant own architectural elements of the building.
Was also delivered a Rose Silver to Zara for the offering of important remote-setting 32 Portal de l'Angel, which offers commercial space fully renovated with a modern element while respecting -ing and reinventing original architectural space, making it more open and close the client.
The third Silver Rose, exceptional, was awarded to the eshtabliment Ojalá Design, 14 Town Street, for its strong commitment to a business model of proximity quality, differentiated by offer, and its commitment to the area south of the Gothic, and the special involvement as a newcomer in the commercial fabric of the region by promoting decisively associations.
Also, plaques were awarded to establishments finalists Budget Bikes, Street Estruch AquaBliss, street Barcelona, Mango Touch-taferrissa Fear Street, French Kiss and Calzedonia the Avenida Portal de l'Angel and Dead Sea Cosmetics Carrer del Pi.
The dinner was used to pay tribute to Enriqueta Pena for his dedication to Barna Centre for 34 years, and Albert Gonzalez, Director of Commerce in the City Council, posthumously, that was collected by George Bailach, his successor.
To close the evening, the President of Barna Centre Javier Cottet, made a speech in which he called for the involvement of the political sector to the commercial fabric of the District, and Mayor Xavier Trias and Conseller Felip Puig also reinforced commitment to the neighborhood, the trade and to all of Barcelona.
In short, a very lively night in which we share experiences, exchange views on the needs of trade and commerce of the district center in the hope that it will again next year all that you enjoy this special evening, and we encourage other partners to join it.
