From 2 to 11 September , Avenida de la Catedral celebrates one of the most important cultural events in Catalonia, the Catalan Book Week . This year celebrates its 34th edition and it does offer becoming the largest in the history of books in Catalan . The Week will host more exhibitors than ever, always favoring direct contact , the relationship between booksellers , publishers and readers, who will find all the news , but background books , collections of each stamp . And also a wide selection of all kinds of activities ( presentations , recitals , literary walks , talks ... ) for children and adults, also help to encourage and promote reading
