The sculpture "Barcino", Barcino is the Roman name of Barcelona is a visual poem by Joan Brossa, it's located in the Plaza Nova de Barcelona, opposite the Palau Episcopal.
The column behind it are the last two arches of one of the first century Roman aqueduct that brought water to the city.
These arches were built within the ramparts of the Roman city. A mid-century were reconstructed
