La casa de l'Ardiaca is a peculiar space located in the Gothic Quarter of Barcelona. Its means the Archdeacon's house. The hierarchy of Arcedianos lived in from the twelfth century when the Cathedral of Barcelona began to take shape present Gothic. Many alterations have occurred in the building since then. The most significant is that by Lluís Desplà i d'Oms in the sixteenth century.
