On the occasion of the feast of Corpus Christi, the Cathedral of Barcelona organizes a series of commemorative liturgies and also traditional and popular.
Eucharistic Conference preparation:
Monday 4, Tuesday 5 and Wednesday 6 June, 14 to 17 hours, at the Chapel of Santa Lucia (Calle Santa Lucia), exposure and adoration of the Blessed Sacrament.
Thursday 7 and Friday 8 June, 18 to 19 hours, at the Chapel of Santo Cristo de Lepanto, Holy Hour with exposition and adoration of the Blessed Sacrament. Benedició and reserves. At 19 h. Mass.
Sunday June 10: Solemnity of Corpus Christi. Is the day of the Charity.
Morning at 10, singing of Lauds, the cathedral choir.
8:30 to 13 pm, Exposition of the Blessed for worship in the Chapel of the Sacrament. Blessing and reserves.
Afternoon at 18:30. celebration of the Eucharist presided by Mr. Cardinal Archbishop, Mgr. Luis Martinez Sistach, Plan of the Cathedral and Cathedral Avenue. Follow the procession with the Blessed Sacrament for New Square and the streets Arcs, Portal de l'Angel, Count, Via Laietana, Joaquim Pou Avenue and the Cathedral to the Plan Office which will give the blessing and the reservation.
