34th Race El Corte Ingles

The Race for El Corte Ingles is a popular athletic career, free registration is held annually in Barcelona. Was initiated in 1979 on a street circuit and is organized by the company El Corte Ingles, with the support of the City Council.
The race is usually played on a Sunday in early May, on a track 11 kilometers of urban streets of downtown Barcelona. The output is made at the intersection of Paseo de Gracia to Plaza Catalonia. Then climbs up Passeig de Gracia, turning the street to Plaza Aragon Spain, where it goes to the mountain of Montjuïc. Crossing the Olympic Stadium for the interior and back down the mountain to Parallel Ronda Sant Antoni, ending back at the Plaza Catalonia.
The Race for El Corte Ingles is one of the most popular races in the world participate. In 1994 there were 109,457 athletes take part, the current Guinness record as athletics race in the world with more participants.
