The Institute of Culture of Barcelona (ICUB) celebrates its 15 years and celebrates it inviting to different personalities to imagine which will be the future of the culture in the city.
An anniversary always turns into a point of inflexion between the lived years and those who have to come. It is the most important moment to make plans and to imagine for an instant how it will be the future. Have you ever considered how the arts, theatre and cinema of the future will be?
The Institut de Cultura de Barcelona (ICUB) turns fifteen, and in order to celebrate it, everyone is invited to discover which future awaits the city. The Palau de la Virreina hosts, on March 23rd at 5 p.m., different talks which will try to answer this question by different professionals with a large experience in their respective fields, from artists featured in the field literature, film and art, to politicians and experts in cultural management.
Two by two, guests will give us, in a series of discussions moderated by journalists Carolina Rosich and Xavier Graset, their vision of what awaits us in the coming years.
In the field of Letters, Lolita Bosch and Eloy Fernandez-Porta will take part; in the Scene, Raül Fernandez 'Refree' and Isona Passola, whereas in the Thought field, Xavier Antich y Marti Sales will take part. The day will also feature speeches from the following partners: Daniel Martinez and Josep Maria Prat (Entrepreneurs), Manuel Borja-Vilell and Laurence Rassel (Art), Jordi Marti and Ferran Mascarell (Political) and Mara Diersen and Enric Ruiz Geli (Research / Creativity). The mayor of Barcelona, Jordi Hereu, will be the responsible for closing the debates.
If you want to attend these talks, try to be punctual as seating is limited. Nevertheless, these debates will be also broadcasted live on streaming video. You will be able to watch them across the banner that you will find at the web site home of Barcelona Culture from March 22nd.
